About the Role
As a Logistics Specialist at Gallor Logistics, you'll be at the heart of our U.S. operations, coordinating shipments, managing communication with carriers, and ensuring that every delivery runs smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, multitasking, and making an impact in a dynamic logistics environment.
This is a remote (work-from-home) position, offering flexibility while keeping you connected to our nationwide logistics network. You'll work closely with clients and partners across the U.S., ensuring seamless execution of domestic and international shipments. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor shipments across the U.S. and international destinations.
- Communicate with carriers and vendors to confirm schedules, rates, and documentation.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Manage and prepare shipping documentation, customs forms, and related compliance records.
- Handle scheduling, receiving, and shipment organization for warehouse operations when required.
- Proactively identify issues that may affect delivery timelines and resolve them efficiently.
- Track shipment progress and maintain accurate records within our logistics systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service through prompt communication and professional handling of requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in logistics, tracking (training provided).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
